Sergey is the top Ukrainian designer and can only see 5% of what most people can see. He lost his vision when he developed diabetic retinopathy at the age of eleven. He designs using touch and sound. He is inspired by textures and colors found in nature, art, literature and history. His clothes are pieces of art and are worn by those who enjoy and appreciate fashion, movie stars, entertainers and the Ukrainian elite. Yet, Sergey is very humble and down to earth. He is living proof that people can "Live Successfully with Vision Loss" - which is the theme of our event. Please join us for a very unique experience as Sergey shows 30 couture designs to Dallas for the AFB Center on Vision Loss - Designing with A Vision events.
