- Play By Play Promotions, Inc. is an independent promotion company developed in 1996 by Michaelle O. Johnson, a music industry professional and veteran of 25 plus years. Operating out of Las Colinas (Irving), TX and the DFW metroplex, Play By Play Promotions specializes in promoting and marketing R&B/Urban AC formatted and Christian Urban crossover music. With cooperative national partnerships, music is generated from major labels and respective distributors to garner and target radio airplay on the regional level with a national scope in mind.
While the focus is primarily Urban AC, promotional efforts extend and can be customized to the Rap/Hip Hop genre as well.
Transitional and collaborative efforts are underway with Internet savvy Keith Hill of Lighted Path Films and Productions, along with his Christian social networking Internet platform,The Judah Set.com. This partnership aims to bring about a more cohesive presence and awareness in the marketplace and entertainment arena with a goal of solidifying current and prospective clientele with artist development, promotion and marketing in the entertainment media (music,TV, film).
